We don't mind sharing our Commission!
Potential home buyers, if you've been procrastinating about purchasing a home we have a solution that can help you make that final step. It's called a Buyer's Rebate Incentive.
Home buyers, if you allow a Macy Realty sales agent the opportunity to assist you with your home search and purchase, we will reward you with part of our commission.
Here's how the incentive works. One of our professional agents will take you to view properties. Once you have found a home you'd like to purchase, we prepare and submit your offer to the seller. Once your offer has been accepted and you've closed on the home, we'll give you a cash back rebate up to 1.5% of the purchase price. Example: You purchase a home for $350,000 x 1.5% = $5,250 rebate. It's that simple. The rebate is issued to you in the form of a check or if allowed by your lender, we can issue the rebate as a credit on the HUD-1 Settlement Statement, which would reduce the amount of money needed to bring to closing. Certain terms and conditions apply.
Here are a few more rebate examples: $200,000 x 1.5% = $3,000 Rebate
$500,000 x 1.5% = $7,500 Rebate
You're probably wondering why would we rebate part of our commission to homebuyers? 1). Because we can. It's perfectly legal to offer incentives to clients in most states and B). For some homebuyers, a rebate could be the deciding factor as to whether they should or should not purchase a home, especially if they can only afford to purchase a fixer upper.
We know this sounds too good to be true and sales agents at "other companies" will try to convince you that it's illegal for a real estate agent to give any part of their commission to a client. To this we say, any consumer can contact their state's real estate commission and verify if rebate incentives are legal or not , certain terms and conditions apply. To see our Terms and Conditions, please click "Rebate Terms/Cond" in the menu.
Currently our buyer rebates are only being offered in the Chicagoland and Metro Atlanta areas.
Coming Soon! Rebates in Florida (Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Miami, Naples, Tallahassee and other FL areas).
Note: Buyer rebate incentives are legal in all states except: Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee. Please contact your state's real estate commission for verification
The maximum rebate is capped at $15,000.
